St Patrick’s Terrace

This is the name given to a terrace of houses built in the early 1900s by Mr P. Shortall, at Annesley Place, off the North Strand.

It’s not clear what houses are referred to but there were a number of houses built on Annesely Place between 1897, when several vacant plots are shown on the Ordnance Survey map,1 and 1907, when all those vacant lots had been built on.2

The Corporation agreed the name in September 1904.3
