Saunders Newsletter. Dublin (1745-1879).
Saunders News-letter was the successor to Esdal’s News-letter; first published in 1745 by James Esdal, the copyright was bought by Henry Saunders, Esdal’s apprentice, in 1755. Saunders sold the journal in 1774, but it continued in publication until 1879.
Several libraries in Dublin have copies, but it is also available online through the British Newspaper Archive.
Citation format: Thom’s, [year]. Thom’s Irish Almanac and Official Directory with the Post Office Dublin City and County Directory was published by Alexander Thom annually from 1844. It’s one of the most important source for the history of Dublin streets, but it’s not infallible.
Citation format: Rocque, [year]. John Rocque produced several maps of Dublin, but unless otherwise stated, references are to this one: John Rocque, An Exact Survey of the City and Suburbs of Dublin (1756). This is reproduced as map 5 in the IHTA, Part III.

The Irish Times has its own digital archive, but the years 1859-1949 are included in the British Newspaper Archive, which, in my opinion, has much better search functionality.
